Who I am
My name is Talia Wahl and I am a young artist who specializes in many mediums including acrylic, watercolor, charcoal, and chalk pastel. I have taken various art classes and camps since I was about seven and have continued to enroll myself in higher level art classes in high school including AP Art. In the summer of 2013, I was given an amazing opportunity to study abroad and fly all the way to the beautiful city of Spoleto, Italy. I continue to do art as a hobby and plan to express myself with it for the rest of my life.
Why I Paint
At a young age, I was diagnosed with Lyme Disease which causes inflammation and discomfort to my joints and muscles. Not being able to play sports, I decided to turn towards art which enables me to sit down, pick up a paintbrush, and forget my pain. I turn my pain into something beautiful.
